About Dr Adrian Sjarif
Dr Adrian Sjarif is a Specialist Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgeon with dual fellowship training in Australia and the United States.
Dr Sjarif completed his Master of Surgery degree from the University of Sydney in 2007. His thesis outlined the importance of inflammatory mediators in paediatric burns, and he was awarded the John Loewenthal Medal for this research.
After completing general and specialist surgical training, he earned his Fellowship (FRACS) in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 2013. He then undertook advanced training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, specialising in breast reconstruction and complex cancer-related procedures, followed by further experience in facial aesthetic surgery in Germany.
Dr Sjarif returned to Australia in 2014 and later established Southside Plastic Surgery in Wollongong and Highlands Plastic Surgery in the Southern Highlands.
