Surgical Procedures - Thigh Lift

Thigh Lift

A thigh lift improves the shape and tone of the thighs by removing excess skin and fat, often following weight loss or age-related laxity.

How Is This Procedure Performed?

The procedure is performed under general anaesthesia. Incisions are made in the groin area and sometimes along the inner thigh, allowing excess tissue to be removed and the remaining skin tightened.

Downtime

Patients typically resume light activities within 1–2 weeks, with full recovery over several weeks.

Scars

Scars are on the inner thigh and whilst well concealed, are permanent and not be invisible.

Risks and complications

Possible risks include infection, swelling, scarring, asymmetry, and delayed healing.
